What subscription boxes do you offer?
We offer two subscription services:
The Steam Box
Quarterly romance box with 3 books + goodies (and optional “vibes”)
More Amor
Monthly romance subscription where you choose 1 of 6 curated upcoming titles
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to U.S. addresses only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Is shipping included in the subscription price?
No, shipping is charged separately at checkout.
Can I skip or pause my subscription?
Not at this time. If you need a break, you must cancel and re-subscribe when you're ready to return.
Can I change my shipping address?
Yes! You can update your subscription through your customer portal.
More Amor Subscription
- Update your address by the 14th of the month.
The Steam Box
- Update by the 20th of the last month in the box cycle (e.g., March 20 for the Winter box).
How do I choose my book for More Amor?
On the 1st of every month, we reveal 6 upcoming romance titles. You have until the 14th to choose your book.

Can I change my book selection after I’ve made it?
Yes! Through your customer portal you can change your selection anytime before the 14th. After the 14th, your choice is locked in.
When will I receive my selected book?
Your chosen book will ship during its official release week the following month.
EX: Books we release in July are for August titles.

The Steam Box – Ships quarterly
- Winter Box: Jan–Mar (ships end of March)
- Spring Box: Apr–Jun (ships end of June)
- Summer Box: Jul–Sep (ships end of September)
- Fall Box: Oct–Dec (ships end of December)
More Amor—Ships monthly
- Each month, you choose from six upcoming romance titles.
- Book picks open on the 1st and close on the 14th.
Your selected book ships during its release week the following month.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel through your customer portal. Just make sure to cancel before the cutoff dates below to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
What’s the cancellation deadline for The Steam Box?
Cancel before the end of the current box cycle to avoid the next quarterly charge
Example: Cancel during Spring (Apr–Jun) to avoid the Summer box (Jul–Sep)
What’s the cancellation deadline for More Amor?
- Cancel by the 14th of the month to avoid the next charge on the 15th.
- First-time subscribers are required to stay subscribed for 3 months
- Cancellations after the 14th will apply to the following month
Do you offer refunds if I forget to cancel?
All subscription charges are final once processed. We do not offer refunds for cancellations made after billing.

Issues, delays & Returns
What if my box was marked delivered but hasn’t arrived?
Please wait 72 hours after it’s marked delivered — sometimes carriers scan early. If you still haven’t received it, email us at hello@steamylit.com within 30 days of the delivery date.
What if something in my box is damaged?
Email hello@steamylit.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage. We review each case individually and may offer a replacement or partial refund.
What if an item delays the box?
In rare cases (e.g., special editions), we may hold a box until all items arrive. We always update our website when delays occur and try to send communication via e-mail.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
No. All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for any subscription box.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds for subscription charges once they’ve been processed. Please review your subscription settings before the billing date.
